This software adds a payment method to your WooCommerce store. It lets customers pay using MPay services and cultural vouchers. The plugin handles the secure exchange of data between your shop and the payment gateway. You need this tool if your business operates in Moldova and accepts government-backed vouchers.

📥 How to download and install

Follow these steps to add the gateway to your store:

  1. Visit the official download page to view all plugin versions.
  2. Locate the latest release and download the file named mpay-gateway.zip to your computer.
  3. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  4. Navigate to the Plugins menu on the left side of the screen.
  5. Select Add New and click the Upload Plugin button at the top.
  6. Choose the file you downloaded and click Install Now.
  7. Wait for the installation to finish, then click Activate Plugin.

🛠️ Configuration

Once you activate the plugin, you must link it to your payment account:

  1. Go to WooCommerce and then Settings in your dashboard.
  2. Click the Payments tab at the top.
  3. Find MPay Cultural Voucher in the list of payment methods and click Manage.
  4. Enter your merchant ID and secret keys provided by your MPay representative.
  5. Upload your X.509 certificate files if requested by the configuration screen.
  6. Ensure the Enable payment gateway checkbox is ticked.
  7. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

🔍 Troubleshooting

If you face issues during the payment process, check these common items:

Plugin does not appear: Ensure WooCommerce is active. The plugin only shows its settings when WooCommerce is running.

Payment errors: Verify your API credentials. Even a small typo prevents the plugin from connecting to the MPay servers.

White screen after install: Check your server's error logs. This usually happens if your PHP version is too old for the plugin.
